The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. The contact stated that there was corrosion on the fuel lines. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was confirmed that the fuel line was corroded and it needed to be replaced. The contact mentioned that the fuel lines had previously corroded. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 120,000. The VIN was not provided.
The fuel light came on and has never turned off.. now we can't tell how much fuel the vehicle has, it doesnt show keeps saying low fuel even when its full. The gage that shows how much fuel it has is stuck on the empty side. I feel that this is dangerous because you don't know how much gas it has. Please check on others of the same problems on this vehicle types.
