My 2007 Chevrolet is burning oil two quarts low on 3,000 miles. I have not had truck but four months and just put the miles that is shown on here on truck. It appears to be the same problem every one else is having with there trucks. Camden TN GM step up an have a recall on these vehicles.
Tighten fuel cap warning - tightened about 20 times and warning went away each time ,then replaced the cap three times. Then check engine light came on. Had it check at dealer (stealership), they wanted $400 to fix but said it was not critical. Bought part for $24.59 and installed in 10 minutes. Wow - how did they get that price of $400??
Check engine light went away for several months, now the entire process has started all over again. Every time I am in dealer for oil change I hear one or more people complaining about the same thing. Gee - seems to me that with so many people having this problem it should be a RECALL.
Thinking of a new vehicle -----probably not a Chevy
