The door locks on my truck start engaging while driving; acceleration decreases, cluster panel lights flicker, seat belt light comes on. Truck will not start, absent wiggling battery cables or pressing down on fuses in fuse box in the engine compartment. Chev dealer encountered truck not starting when I left it for evaluation. Chev dealer replaced a 175 amp fuse on the firewall that looked "scorched." Approx 1 month later, after no similar issues, door locks started engaging again, while driving. Took to Chev dealer again today to inspect the fuse they replaced and to evaluated further. Very frustrating and prior similar complaints noted on your website indicate those owners were told by Chevrolet, this is normal. WTF?
Update from Jul 23, 2018: I eventually took the truck to the local Chev dealer and requested they replace the negative battery cable. (I had read on this or another website, this solved a similar problem for another Silverado owner. I did this about a year ago and during a recent trip, I noticed the headlights would flicker when I applied the brake pedal. Then, when traveling with the cruise control activated, the cruise control would de-activate. Ultimately, the door locks again started activating intermittently, starting up similar issues I previously encountered. I really felt the batter cable replacement would be the fix, and it was for about 2 yrs, but these funky symptoms are beginning again.
