- Battery Rundown Protection - This company provides a full kit to take advantage of using the extra battery tray provided by GM. The isolator system is smart in that it only charges one battery at a time so recovery is fast due to no voltage drops you find with other isolator systems. Most importantly is the system has a wireless remote to open a circuit for 60 seconds for starting. The isolator prevents and run down or drain so it's always there for you.It comes complete minus battery (group 48). Even the hold down is in it. It takes about 30 minutes in this form to install the kit.
- GM Dead Battery - These people have a system for GM trucks and SUVs to add a second battery preventing getting stranded by the notoriois GM battery run down syndrome

Response to Mike G complaint #1 from dealer - could find nothing wrong with the truck. However, upon learning that this occurred at an airport, they noted that this has happened to others at various airports and they believe they are seeing an OnStar problem. They believe it is continuously roaming and never shutting down. No method was proposed or suggested to fix this problem.
