After having the steering shaft replaced on the truck, their has become an annoying squeak/rattle (sounds like it is just through the dash on the driver side). Very annoying especially from a truck with a 40,000 sticker. The dealership cannot seem to find the problem. At first the noise could only be heard with the window up but can now be heard with the window down. It sounds like it is coming from right behind the drivers wheel. The funny thing is some bumps that I hit will make it stop but the next morning when I get in to go to work, it does it all over again. Just frustrated because the dealer cant find the problem and nothing they have tried so far has worked. Any idea what could be causing this? The truck has 14,200 miles on it.
