First the brake lines rusted out 2 years ago ( $ 1000.00 ) . Now my fuel lines are leaking . I was told $ 1500.00 for replacement by a professional shop . Further research shows kits made of stainless steel , but I guess Chevy was too CHEAP to use these or coat them . Hey Chevrolet ! , Remember those "Like a rock" commercials you ran ? , you should have been honest and re-called this problem , Things like this are why we the "Consumers " lose brand name reconstitution and shop other brands , but I guess that immediate almighty dollar precedes all . I was going to buy a new truck this year but bill set me back a year or two . I will not be shopping any brand that leaves customers stuck with this expense ( cheap junk fuel lines ) , or any other problems that really should have been recalled .
