Continually,stalls,black smoke,runs rough,running lean,just a pain

Update from Aug 22, 2010: Okay finally the truck is running like a top, after changing the fuel filter, points and plugs, it was still running like sh*t, BUT I had a burned out coil, Problem fixed, for fifty dollars plus tax!

my 1999 silverado just stopped running out of the blue one day. Now it won't stay started for longer than 2 mins. I cant figure it out and its starting to piss me off!!!!!!!

Still won't run right. Runs for 5 minutes then shuts off. Runs for 1 minute after it starts getting warmed up

something gets hot and shuts off the fuel supply. I am going to try replacing the pickup coil and fuel pressure

regulator and see if that works.. Also replaced the replaced ignition control module.
