Bought the SSR used and the first thing I find out is that there are no hinges to hold up the front hood! Looked all over and could not find a replacement they are out of production. Second thing is that the RPM Tac was reading off and on. Sometimes it worked sometimes it did not. Then this winter the speedometer starts to act crazy sometimes works correctly and sometimes it does not work right at all. The dealer said it was going to cost $800 and some change just to send it to the mfg and there was no guarantee that they could fix it or replace it. So what do I do? The service guy has the gall to tell me to look on youtube and maybe they have a fix for it. What an ass.
I can't tell you the problems that Crossroads of Joplin refuse to fix or address or just plain screw up and make worse. This has to be one of the worst Chevy dealers in the area and I will never buy another vehicle from them ever again. They conned my wife into buying new tires for her HHR with some deal called Tires for Life, which meant that she would never have to buy a tire ever again for that car as long as she had it balanced and rotated and aligned on a routine basis which she did. Then the owners sell the business and the new owners are refusing to honor the deal the old owner had made with my wife for tires for life. They said they would only grant her one set of tires and that was it. What a con job that was. There is nothing that is for life because if the owner sells the new owners don't have to honor the deal the previous owner had made.
The public is being screwed by every company out there. everything is now made of plastic and programmed to fail. It seems to me that GREED has taken hold of every company out there and they could care less about you after you walk out the door with there merchandise. The country is going to sh*t if you ask me hell you can't even work on an automobile anymore.
