I know this site states each problem should be counted separately however, I had the same problem on both 2003 S-10's I've owned. The first time my ignition would not turn on it came apart in my hand. I was lucky truck still under warranty. Chevy towed it in & fixed it at no cost to me. Then years later a semi-truck flat bed pulled out in front of me in the winter. I tried to miss it because had I kept going forward I would have been decapitated. I eventually steered toward the ditch to my right but before I could get into the ditch his front end got in my way. I purchased a used 2003 S-10 with 98,000 miles on it, same color as my new one/totaled. I had no issues until last year my ignition started acting up. I put key in and it would not turn. I'd take key out and try again this worked the third to fourth time I would try however 10 months later it is the worst. I for a while had to push on the brake and jiggle the shift lever eventually it would turn on. Now today 5/12/2017 it is the worst. Yesterday I thought it was dead. I did get it to turn after 10 minutes of trying everything now, same issue today. I'm wondering what date and where will I be when it totally craps out & I'm stranded. ANY KNOWN CHEAP FIXES????
