Upon applying brakes on ruff or wet roads, the brake pedal jumps and then goes all the way to the floor. Brakes fail. Dealer suggests that I drive only on smooth roads that are dry. They admitted that this is a common problem and that the manufacturer hasn't come up with a solution. Told that it meets standards. I feel this truck is dangerous and I do not want to drive it and risk my life or anyone I might hit. My brother has already been thrown into the dash, while wearing his seat belt. Dealer said belt does not hold when brakes fail.
Consumer slammed on brakes to avoid another car in front, and driver's side seat belt retractor did not catch properly. The dealer and the manufacturer could not help the consumer and the seat belt is still not tight around the waist when brakes are applied.
