This is the most major thing that has gone wrong with this truck, which, by the way, is gorgeous. Alot of after market cosmetic work was done to the truck, and I haven't seen another one like it anywhere. I don't believe the lights above the windshield are factory, neither are the running boards. We bought it with a really nice topper, but took it off because I had a hard time seeing behind me with it on there. The oversize tires are great, but they are hard on the wallet. Has a 4.3 liter Vortec V6 that I have heard nightmares about, but mine runs great. I have the same engine in my 1995 Blazer, and no issues there either. I have had to do some other work to this pickup. I had to get a boot re greased. Alignment right after I bought it, and it still goes to the right a bit, but I was told that was normal for a truck. 4 wheel drive works excellent. Have only had to use it once, but I think when winter comes, that'll change. I bought it in May, so I havent had a chance to test it in winter yet. About the tranny problem......couldnt figure out the problem, until we noticed it was leaking tranny fluid. Whatever it is that holds the fluid was cracked and just got replaced. That's been the most major problem so far. My 1995 Blazer on the other hand......whole different story.
