The contact owns a 1998 Chevrolet S10. While driving approximately 30 mph, the engine stalled without warning. The failure occurred on several occasions. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The technician diagnosed that the ignition switch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the issue. While driving/stopping the veh and upon turning ignition to start vehicle again, it will not start. Consumer has to jump start vehicle to get it going. Took to dealer. Problem has not been remedied. Consumer now states that vehicle will not start after jump starting and on several occasions the vehicle stalled leaving driver stranded.
