According to owners manual airbags are supposed to be deployed at a threshold of 9-18 mph. Thy did not. Contacted GM dealership and they do not want to do anything with this problem. I need your help. My hand is in a cast and according to my doctor may need an operation to mend the torn ligaments in my hand. I hit the steering wheel with my chest. Yet the GM manufacturer will not do anything other than explain to me how the air bags work. A vehicle cross my path not yielding to traffic and crossed my front about 15 feet away. I hit the the other vehicle in T-bone type accident going at 40 mph, spunned the other vehicle about three times and my air bag in my Chevy S-10 truck did not deploy. GM has placed this file on the backburner and without action. They do not want to take responsibility for my safety.
