Fuel leak at #4 injector dripping onto exhaust manifold. Extreme fire hazard! I am a certified master mechanic and I am going to fix this my self. There is a recall on this vehicle with this engine but the Chevy dealer said it was not for this VIN #[xxx] (1996 Chevy S10 pu 2.2 liter engine). Consumer noticed gasoline fumes inside vehicle. Vehicle taken to dealer, who determined fuel injector tops were made of plastic and allow ed fuel to leak onto intake manifold. Fuel injectors need to be replaced.
