A pin retaining the hydraulic hose from the slave to master cylinder worked its way out, allowing the hose to separate from the master cylinder. This resulted in a loss of fluid and loss of clutch movement. The truck was stopped at the time. This could have serious reprocussions in a different situation. I.e. lurching forward/difficulty stopping.
