While driving the consumer stopped and parked vehicle to go inside office, when he come back outside, got into the vehicle tried to back up (reverse), but it did not have any brakes and the ABS light on the dashboard did not go off.
While driving vehicle in reverse about 10 mph the consumer parked the vehicle and went inside the office. When came back out and got into vehicle tried to back up (reverse) but did not have any brakes, and the ABS light on the dashboard did not go off.
When it is wet outside and the brakes are applied the pedal goes to the floor and the truck gets right on going. This only happens when it is wet outside. The pedal goes to the floor and locks up. The only way the truck will stop is when the driver pumps the pedal, and that's when the truck will stop.
Driving 40mph; applied brakes to slow down, vehicle not slowing. Pressed harder, pedal went to floor. Vehicle not stopping; wheels locked up. Hit manhole cover. No air bag deployment; took to dealer & will not touch til manufacturer looks at vehicle.
While driving on wet road driver wa sapproaching a stop sign, upon applying ABS brakes, ehicle failed to stop. Went through intersection onto busy highway wher eit was hit by a passenger car. Driver/passenger sustained injuries.
The ABS braking system on vehicle has been replaced and repaired two times; 1st replacement 10-8-96, and the 2nd time 2-24-97. Manufacturer has been contacted. Wants owner to get brakes repaired at dealer vehicle was purchased from.
While driving 30 mph, applied the ABS brakes and the brake pedal hit the floor. The vehicle won't stop, causing an accident. Prior to the accident, had the brakes fixed 5 times. Dealer cannot determine problem.
Brakes: When driving and you applying the brakes the vehicle wanders abruptly to the right. This does not happen all the time, but you never know when it is going to happen. Took vehicle in for repairs and they reversed rotors and the problem still exists. Has taken back since but they can't find problem.
Vehiclehas ABS brake system. Front brakes have excessive brake wear. Owner is very concerned for his safety. Owner notes of others who have had similar problems.
