While driving at 40.mph on a dirt road, consumer tried to go around a deer in the road, brakes failed and vehicle lost control and went up an enbankment, rolled down the enbakement. Vehicle went sliding sideways and didn't slow down. Upon impact, driver' side air bag didn't deploy.
While braking at stop sign on an incline vehicle anti-lock brake will activate causing vehicle to slide last 10'0. especially when road surface is wet. Even braking from 20-25 mph will cause vehicle to move forward last 10'0 as brakes release when anti-lock kick in.
When brakes were applied in a panic stop the pedal went to the floor, resulting in extended stopping distance, causing the vehicle to collide. Owner has experienced simular problems with the brakes prior to the collision. The dealer has been notified. Owner wa sissued a citation for failure to control speed to avoid speed. Four days after accident, consumer suffered back pain.
When applying the brakes the pedal will go to the floor, and the brakes would become hard. While making a hard right, the brakes went to the floor, causing the vehicle to collide. The dealer has replaced the master cylinder.
While driving slowly, stopping and picking up speed, applied brakes, and the brake's went straight to the floorboard and locked up. The vehicle has been in the shop four to five times for repairs. Dealer replaced the brakes and the problem has returned.
Vehicle was experiencing intermittent brake troubles. Brakes would grab on one side, causing brakes to lock-up. Vehicle been dealer shop and repairs were made, but later on vehicle had once again experienced another brake lock-up. Taken back to dealer shop and informed of nothing could be found.
Brakes are underpowered for the vehicle, . when applying brake pedal, extended stopping distance occurs, and the ABS system kick in prematurely, dealer contacted and cannot duplicate the problem.
ABS brake problems; the anti-lock braking system is very sensitive. When going over any irregularities in the road the system does not kick in correctly. The dealer is not able to correct the problem.
ABS brake problems; when applying the brakes in a non dry pavement, the brakes kick in then release and the vehicle starts to slow down, and all of a sudden the system lets go and the vehicle does not stop. The dealer is not able to correct the problem.
