Passenger side rear wheel does not line up with front wheel. Passenger side rear wheel is inward approximately 1 to 2 inches. Drivers side rear wheel line up perfectly with the front drivers side wheel looking from front to back and vice versa. I was informed that this problem could be corrected by installing an adjustable panhard bar if I could find one to fit.
The spare tire carrier located underneath the truck broke. The cable frayed and snapped. As a result, the spare tire fell off while driving on the highway at 70 mph. The dealer indicated there was no recall. The spare tire and the rim fell onto the freeway. The spare tire was never used.
While driving at any rate of speed and without warning vehicle will completely shut down, also check engine light illuminates, indicating a malfunction. Dealer replaced the engine which did not correct the problem.
This S10 Blazer has been a lemon. We have had to repair the following: Front disc pads/rotor 5/9/97; shifter cable 5/17/97; replace pump, seals, hub, R&R trans rem, atf gal, pipe asm 8/8/97; replace scrp belt and reprogram PCM 12/10/97; replace hearter core, drain/flush radiator, replace rear view mirror outside4/3/98; replace transmission 8/98; replace condenser and key actuator 10/6/98.
When driving the check engine light comes on and stays on. Vehicle surges when driving, it slows down so badly that have to try and pull over to keep from being hit. Vehicle has been in shop five times for this problem and the say they can't find anything wrong.
