I started having issues with the windows fogging up really bad after raining and being a little humid in the fall. Didn't think much of it until winter time when after having the car parking inside my garage the windows would fog up the whole car, unable to see a damn thing driving to work. Temp was near freezing if not freezing outside. The heater does work inside the car but it does nothing to clear the fog off the windows.
Tried putting the ac on and changing all the heater/ac settings to clear the fog off the windows. NOTHING.
Took it to dealership...they said nothing was wrong and couldn't reproduce. Awesome. Car is now out of warranty and have not fixed it. Just dealt with it by rolling down the windows while driving and on the highway when it's f++king freezing outside. It's very annoying and dangerous.
Can definitely see someone getting into a huge accident.
I researched online and some people have stated something about the heater core? malfunctioning.
The part is probably less then $75 but the labor is a killer. ~$500.
