This car has been nothing but money problems. Brought the car 2 years ago "still have 2 years to pay on it". This Monte Carlo should have been recalled. First its diagnosed as the BCM....WRONG....Battery.....WRONG.....Alternator......REPLACED....WRONG. Just had to get a jump this morning. Now I can do what a lot of people are doing and disconnect my battery cable every night....ridiculous solution. No one seems to have an EXACT solution for this problem. So the owner is left to getting a lot of unnecessary parts fixed. Yeah, its a nice looking car, but it CRAP mechanically and GM knew this and produced this piece of crap for several years. Every problem everyone else is having is the same problem all GM owners are having with this car, from: BCM - Body Control Module Cluster going bad transmission water coming onto the floor from their weak ass molding around the filter under the hood car not starting and needing a jump all the time and no one has the answer not even GM. Called them and they told me basically "Sir, you're on you own" and hung up the phone I don't generally use the word hate...but I HATE this car and I'm too poor to do anything about this but keep paying this note and keep getting sh*t fixed on this crap.
