Well, went to go get a state inspection and was failed. He had me come in the shop, my car was up on the lift, and the mechanic showed me all the rust under my car. I was in denial, because I bought my car in 2017 and, well, 3 years later here I am being told my car can no longer drive on the road. The mechanic also pointed out that the rust made it to the brake-lines and now they began to leak...
...well, I made it two weeks. On the drive home I went to apply the brake and the brake pedal dropped to the floor! Seems like a bad joke, huh? Well, the mechanic got my car to a different mechanic shop, and they just looked at my car and told me they wouldn't fix it, it would be too much work for them, and told me if I took my car to a Chevy Dealer, well, I could buy a new car for the price of the repairs!
Really, there's nothing I can do, other than make this statement. This was a "Total Loss" for me. I saved up all my money to buy this car so I wouldn't have to make any payments. I got no return on investment. I can only tell people to check where they vehicle has come from. This car was bought in New York, and had an owner in Pennsylvania. I didn't know those were the worst states to buy a car from, for issues with rust.
