security light comes on after u start car an drive awhile. the auto unlock/lock pad ,trunk wont work ,have to use the key to open em.now the low tire pressure light came on . then the the service engine light come on .all three lights were taking turns flashing on an off. then service engine light went off .now its just the other two lights flashing on an off.i was told it may shut fuel pump off so it wont start because it thinks somebody is trying to steal it...
Have a 2002 Monte SS. Security light was on for awhile intermittently, then door locks and trunk opener stopped working, radio says locked, voltage gauge read 0v. Found blown fuse for doors. ok. reset/ cleared codes with code scanner (no codes found). Good for a couple weeks. Now light is on again.
Car runs great and only has 40000mi.
Might try the spare set of keys and fob and see if that help...other ideas???
Our 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo SS had a security light come on. Locks and trunk stopped working. It was a blown fuse. Drove it for a couple days with the security light coming on only once. I changed the fuse and the next day the security light comes on again and fuse blows again. I haven't changed fuse and when we start car car the security light is off. It will come on once in awhile. I noticed the other night it actually shuts all electrical inside/out off for a split second. I am now researching the internet to see if there is a solution.
