7/09 ABS, Traction control, service engine, security warning lights all flash like a fricken Christmas tree on drugs. Once that happens it appears my battery dies as well. I've replaced the battery, alternator, starter, plugs and wires, flushed every hole possible, ignition switch, new key, brakes, rotors, tires.

Update 5/11 Now also, installed a battery disconnect thingy that I have to reconnect before I start my car and disconnect Every time I turn off my car. It seems to work most of the time but, extremely inconvenient as I am on disability and don't breathe well most of the time so to lift the hood of the car feels like it weighs a ton to me.

Update 4/19/18: Mileage 170k , still can't find a true fix to the issue above. Does anyone have the definite answer for me?

GM ought to be ashamed for not issuing a recall ... Glad I haven't had an asthma exasperation or run out of oxygen due to this.

DASH LIGHTS WENT OUT FOR A MONTH AND JUST STARTED WORKING ONE NIGHT. I HAVE REPLACED SO MUCH ON THIS CAR WHEN DOES IT END? TRANSMISSION-CATALYTIC CONVERTER 3 TIMES- 2 AIR CONDITIONER COMPRESSORS-BRAKES PADS EVERY 4 TO 6 MONTHS -RADIATOR- CONSTANTLY RUNS HOT/LOW COOLANT-FOG LIGHTS ONLY WORK IN THE DAY (IF THAT) THE INFO THING THATS HAS TEMP ETC. SHOWS ITS ALWAYS -30 DEGREES WITH ICE IN 90 DEGREE WEATHER.HAD TO REPLACE AMP FOR STEREO BECAUSE THE STEREO HAD NO SOUND. PASS. SIDE WINDOW WONT GO UP OR DOWN CHK ENGINE LIGHT ALWAYS ON. GAS GAUGE SAYS FULL ALL THE TIME.NOW IM HEARING SOME SOUND COMING FROM THE BACK TIRES LIKE I HAVE A FLAT. I HAVE ALREADY BEEN THROUGH THE CAR NOT STARTING/DIES WHILE DRIVING.AFTER GOING THROUGH CATALYTIC CONVERTERS FIGURED OUT THATS WHAT WAS CAUSING THE CAR TO DIE WHILE DRIVING. THE MECHANIC JUST TOOK IT COMPLETELY OFF NO PROBS WITH THAT SINCE. AS FAR AS THE CAR NOT STARTING I WOULD PLUG IN MY PORTABLE DIAGNOSTIC MACHINE UNDER THE DASH AND RESET THE COMPUTER -IT STARTS RIGHT UP. FANS CONSTANTLY BLOWING HAD TO HAVE SOME WIRES UNPLUGGED TO MAKE THAT QUIT. AND THERE IS SO MUCH MORE I CAN WRITE BUT IM TIRED SO IM DONE!
