This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Repeated efforts to get GM/michael's Chevy to fix the following problems: A.C. fan on high rattles, interior trim pieces (after dealer repairs) does not fit together and hangs down, causing problem getting in and out of vehicle, transmission replaced at 11,500+/- miles leaving floor shifter to slip out of drive into neutral with ease, tachometer doesn't work all the time and the trip O meter fails at different times, power door locks don't allow entrance/exiting(both acturators have been replaced), all attempts with dealers have ended with " can't duplicate problem" and several sun treatments(no effort to repair or find problem). I left the auto with dealership for 2weeks and it was not repaired. GM refuses to apply any efforts to help in resolutions. I'm now at the point that I'm forced to trade away this auto because I can't get GM/penske dealership to honor the warranty( dot number: None tire size: P225/60R- )
