For the past 6 months, my car engine races from 3000 to 5000 RPM making the car very difficult to control and stop. On several occasions, I have come close to getting into an accident because the car is difficult to stop or wants to lunge forward when I am stopped at a light. I have brought the car back to my dealer four time since December. When I bring it there - the car is acting normal so they claim the car is acting at factory spec. I brought it to the dealer on 4/14/2000 - I had it in park and the engine was running at 3000 RPM. The service manager refused to look at the car because he had no mechanics. I turned off the car, started it up again, and the car ran normally. I am afraid to drive this car anymore for fear that I will get into an accident and someone will get hurt. My dealership is not helping me.
