While driving 35 mph the front control arm and lower ball joints broke. As a result, the steering and brakes failed, and the vehicle collided into brick wall. Upon impact, the airbags did not deploy. No injuries reported.
Driver's side ball joint stud fractured, causing wheel/ driveshaft and the cv boot to separate from vehicle. A recall has been issued on the vehicle's make; however, this vehicle was not included due to VIN. Vehicle has been repaired at the owner's expense. Manufacturer has been notified.
