2005 Chevy Malibu headlight over heating. Consumer states that the front cover of the daytime running lights and turn signals melt. When the cover drips onto the light bulb it puts a hole in the bulb. The consumer stated the plastic coverings were discolored above the bulb due to extreme heat which was an obvious defective design and /or improper bulb. Not only did the headlights fail, but the right front park and signal light had to be replaced as well.
