Driving my 22 RS Trailblazer (59,438 mi) up a hill going approximately 55 mph. All of a sudden I start to loose power. I think to myself, why does it all of a sudden feel like I'm driving my sisters Crosstrek?! I told my friend "I think my turbo went out". I immediately drove it to the parts store where they pulled code P0299. My foot was touching the floor the whole ride there and I couldn't get over 40 mph. Right before it happened I had pumped gas, 87 unleaded, and right then, got a harsh idle upon start. Fifteen minutes later my turbo was gone. It took the dealership shop over a month to get a new turbo installed. Supposedly a gasket was on back order or something. Luckily this happened to me under warranty, yet I am still getting a slightly rough idle 300 miles later.
