This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have a Service Engine Soon Malfunction Indicator Lamp on. Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Codes P0721, P0722, P0723, P0716, P0717, P176B, P176C, or P176D. Technician will need to follow publish Service Information diagnostics first. If Service Information diagnostics do not isolate a root cause of the concern the technician should speed sensor related to the Diagnostic Trouble Code.
