Driving down the expressway to work, suddenly my car started to slow down, the engine light came on, and a warning came up that said "reducing engine output". My car started to stop itself. Luckily!!!!! There was a place to pull over. I restarted the car and it would drive, but the engine light is still on. When I check my car app, it says all systems are good and does not recognize the engine light being on.
This is awful. I bought this vehicle new and I have 3 years with it. I am paying on it and it doesn't work. The guarantee doesn't work because is not a recall. I had Chevrolet before and never had any problems, but this new vehicles are worthless. I will never buy a Chevy again if they are not responsible for their engineering mistakes. The only thing that I have to say is that their vehicles are not as good as they used to be.
The car completely shut down. Car Keyless would not open car. The car was frozen. Sat by car for half an hour trying to press the button to open car, make care react and NOTHING! Until half an hour later it magically opened. I took it to the dealer in Montebello and they told me I was not the only car with this problem (in fact I was the fourth car) and as of now GM did not have a recall in place, nor did they have a solution for my problem. They could not analyze it, because the other cars were not displaying anything wrong and the bulletin they received from GM only gave the option of disconnecting the battery every time the car acts up!
