Brake pump shattered as I was traveling on the interstate. I’m extremely thankful no one was injured.

It is very scary and unsafe, when the vacuum pump failed. I had my 9yr of daughter with me and it really scared her that she didn’t want to get in a car right now. It is very unsafe and dangerous. Someone is going to get hurt real bad or someone is going to get killed.. Fix the damn issues

I am super disappointed that this issue with these cars have not had a recall yet... How many people need to suffer or worse die before they take care of their responsibilities of providing a safe car for their consumers. Luckily for me this happened two minutes before I entered the expressway coming home from my vacation in Tennessee. Traveling with my 13 yr. old daughter it was a very scary experience, without any warning of your brakes hardening up without being able to stop. The people who manufactured this car with the vacuum attached to the engine is a sure way for disaster and utter stupidity. The mechanic said this is very dangerous and common and they should do a recall. He also said how lucky I was that the metal didn't ruin my engine too. This has cost me $1986.00 to get home. My next car will not be a Chevy. They should reimburse all of us who have been affected to the bullshit. Fix the problem and make it right!!!! So sick of the greed in this world at the expense of people's lives all for the dang dollar. So sad!

Driving my car to work today and it feels like the ABS system malfunctioned. It feels like the calipers are stuck and it takes extra force to depress the brake pedal to get the car to stop.

A few weeks ago while in slow moving traffic, my car's brake pedal started pulsating when applied and the brakes would lock up. There was a loud thumping coming from inside the engine compartment but the brakes were fine once I got going. Today while driving at 70+ miles an hour I went to push my brake pedal and it would not depress, my car would barely start to slow and I was using all my might, and just before crashing into the back of the cars in front of me I put my car in neutral and swerved to the side of the road and applied my emergency brake, coming to rest in a small ditch. I called my wife for some clean underwear and am now calling the dealership. I just purchased the care a few months ago from the Chevy dealership. I am seeing that this is a common problem so why is there no recall or why do dealerships not have to disclose problems with the vehicles they sell?
