Just bought a 2013 Chevy Malibu 2.5L LT with 38,000 on the 1st of May. A little over a week ago I noticed my car was downshifting hard especially when coasting. I took it to the dealership, and they said it was perfect they couldn't do anything for me because there wasn't any lights on the dash and the computer wasn't picking anything up. I love my car but this is not making it an easy ride. I don't know what to do.
At about 8000 miles the car stopped being as responsive. When climbing hills to go home, so everytime the car leaves the house it has to climb the hill to go home up a steep hill. It now sometime bogs way down before it shifts down, it use to just start to climb the hill and would shift down right away, now we have to gas it for it to shift down or manually shift it down.
Have reported to dealer and they won't do anything unless it throws a code. Same answer as with all my problems, no code, no fix or research.
