Purchased this POS in Feb of 2019. Started running rough and had constant codes being through. I fixed cam shaft positioning sensors and everything you can think of and every time I'd fix one code another problem. September of same year. September 2019 car just stopped in the middle of my work day and just quit. Towed back. I went step by step. Made sure it had compression and started buying parts before you know it i'm sitting at 500 dollars. Took Vacuum pump off and it was completely bound.
It was shattered. We were taking off camshafts and they were bent. There was not a bearing in this motor. These damn throw away motors. Bought both camshafts, and not to mention the freaking 150 dollar tool times 2 which couldn't 'cost more than 3 dollars to make to install and remove them. I borrowed a 1000 dollars to fix a car and payments and cost me time at work, headache and still in debt from borrowed money.
I kept this car immaculate. I have pics when I dropped it off. I still owed 10694.62 on this car I bought 6 months ago and they still go 5487 dollars at auction with a blown motor. There was no way that motor could be saved. It's leaving me owing 5207 dollars on this car. It was my first and last Chevy. From the looks of reading around i'm not the only one with same problem. I want my money and a new car, Chevy!!!!!!
