Had the same issue in 2014 had the brake booster go out while shopping. I had the vehicle towed to a service center and it was covered under warranty. Now 2019 had the same problem but the service center can’t find the brake booster. It is out of stock everywhere. That leads me to think that this is a larger issue for the 2013 Chevy Malibu and why is there no a recall on the brake booster if that many ppl are having the same problem. I am just glad to be alive. This time the brake booster went out while I was driving. I lost the brakes and had to coast into a parking lot and called a tow service to have the vehicle towed.
THIS IS THE 3rd TIME OF THIS HAPPENING, THE BRAKE BOOSTER GOING. I'M GLAD I WAS NOT IN AN ACCIDENT WITH MY KIDS BUT THIS COULD BE BAD IF WAS GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND IT WENT OUT. BUT I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO REPLACE IT 3 TIMES IN A YEAR. THIS IS BULL SH*T!!! 3 TIMES HOW MANY MORE TIMES IS IT GOING TO TAKE BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT? I HAVE LOOKED UP OTHER ISSUES AND THERE ARE MORE WITH THE SAME ISSUE.
