The contact stated that while driving approximately 70 mph, the vehicle hesitated and powered down as the engine over speed and service power steering warning light illuminated. The vehicle restarted but the failure recurred approximately thirty times. The contact mentioned that the failure occurred only at 70 mph or higher. The contact also stated that when the failure occurred, the doors failed to unlock. The vehicle was taken to a dealer but the failure could not be duplicated. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 16,000.
