Driving on the HWY, car lost all power. Had power failure esc code come up, as well as check engine and trac control lights. Melted parts under vehicle and lost all tranny access. Car will not go over 15 miles per hour.
We have only has this car for about nine months & 3 mos ago, we had to take it to the dealership because we got a power down, all the dash lights flashed, then power steering went out......while driving. (Fun, right?) The dealership says they found no cause & everything was working fine when they looked it over. I had them keep it 3 days & drive it to ensure it would not reoccur before I took repossession of it. Now it gets to go to the dealer AGAIN tomorrow - for the same symptoms. I don't want to be a highway statistic just before they decide to do a recall on the brain box or whatever it is that is - causing the problems. I drive 34 mi per day to & from work and bought this car for RELIABLE (...it's NEW,right?) and SAFE (...it's NEW, right?) transportation. This is no small matter - my life and the life of my passengers are at risk.
This is the LAST CHEVY I will EVER BUY!!!!!
