GM in their ultimate wisdom recalled up to 2009 Chevy Malibu but not the 2010. This for a defective steering rack and steering speed sensor. The steering is made by Dorman Products. Cost for the repair is $1000.00.
This issue is only on the Malibu equipped with the 2.4L engine.
