I dropped my 2010 Malibu ([xxx]) off at matick Chevy on 1/10/2020. I called 1/11/2020 and was told there was no charge and it was ready for pick up. That's all I was told. I didn't make it home before the same problem occurred: Service traction error light on the dash board and all 3 brake lights are on - when no one is pressing on the brake. The car is in the garage and all 3 brake lights are on - no one is in the vehicle...I'm driving down the highway and all 3 brake lights are on - I'm not braking. This is a serious safety concern. Today is 1/19/2020 and I still don't have my vehicle and have not received a call - despite leaving a message for the service [xxx], on 1/16/19. He advised that this vehicle is covered under a special warranty program or policy - 150,000 miles or the year 2025?. the vehicle is 10 years old - dealerships don't fix anything for free, so that "special program" is indicative of the company taking responsibility and knowing that you have a problem with this vehicle. I have owned GM products all my life and for the first time do not know if my loyalty to the manufacturer or brand will continue. I am very disappointed in the way this situation has been handled. The vehicle have been serviced for this same problem twice previously. The only saving grace is that I demanded a loaner. Please help. Dealer says they cannot duplicate the issues. I call "[xxx] as I cannot stop the issue not only that but the dealer has charged me $300 plus for the repair" say what" information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
While on the highway the service traction control warning light came on as did the ESC warning light. I tried to engage the cruise control but it would not work. We stopped at a rest area and turned the ignition off for about 20 minutes. We resumed our trip with the cruise control engaged and traveled for approx. 10 minutes. At that point the warning lights illuminated and the cruise control would not work. Every time we drive the car now, the warning lights now come on within a quarter mile. I saw a recall for this same problem but was told my VIN number was not included.the car is at the dealers and will be repaired. Hopefully. I think my car and many others should be under a recall.

There was an intermittent which caused the ESC and traction control lights to flash, the alarm to sound and the words that they were off plus the words traction control and ESC service to come up. At the time the cruise control disengaged. This occurred several times. I brought the vehicle to the dealer on Sept 16th and was told that I shouldn't be concerned about this intermittent. But it occurred again and then on 10/2/13 the warnings stayed N permanently for three days frightening my wife. I brought the vehicle in for service today and they said they fixed the problem using some dielectric grease.
