Service traction, service ESC, and ESC off error lights come on and car shuts down mostly when I apply the brakes and am at stop lights and will not got back in drive to move out of the way of other cars. Eventually it will go in drive and move but now it is starting to do it when the car is going 45 miles an hour or driving at random speeds, feels like it is going to shut off and jumps and skips. I pull off main roads luckily, and car dies and won't move when you put it in drive. I can turn car off for awhile and it seems to reset and limp it home. This is nerve racking and scares me.
I have had it at 2 Chevy dealers and have paid $400.00 total for repairs that have not fixed it, car is getting more dangerous. The dealers say they can't replicate the problem or find the codes on their machines but assure me that what they did will fix the shutting down, and has not. I have paid for rental cars, I have and easy care protection plan which the dealers don't really want to talk about, it is like they are clueless. I do not know what to do now. The last dealer gave me the car back supposedly fixed 2 days ago, and today was horrible and scary as the car is doing it more often.
I read on your site where someone else was experiencing the same problem. I would like to know if they got their car fixed and what the problem was? I am at my wits end and need my car to get to work.
