There is a lawsuit for 2016 to 2018 Chevy Malibu with the same problems I am experiencing with my 2009 Malibu - that is esc tracking lights come on and car completely stops and on dash is 'reduced power/no power' and it shuts down. There are (6) recalls for 2009 Chevy Malibus and every time I put my vin number in - nothing.
Also my headlights on drivers side is out and it is electrical and every time I get it fixed - it stops working even after the mechanic works on it. I was thinking about tweeting this out to see if anyone else is experiencing the same problems with their chevy Malibu. Something has to be done - car due for inspection - I don't even want anyone to drive this car - it is not safe to drive car - so I have to buy another vehicle - not Chevrolet.
