This problem has appeared twice and both times in the middle of the night. The first time the alarm shut-off as I was picking the keyfob, the second time I activated the red shut-off and the alarm went into a shorter length alarm which shut-off after activating the red button on the keyfob , I checked that all the doors were shut, then noticed that the interior dome light was on, I shut it off and re-locked the doors with no further problems, I am pretty sure it must be a faulty door sensor. I plan to get the car to the dealer and will post an update.
