I had this problem of an annoying fluttering sound coming from the dashboard of my Chevy Malibu and I took the problem to In&Out, San Francisco,Ca. about a year ago. Proprietor Ricky Villareal was incredibly helpful in his attempt to locate and stop the noise. He immediately spent 2 hours of investigative work looking for the problem but we could not determine what was causing the noise. Later, I did some investigation on internet blogs and found others who complained of the same noise on the same year and model of car. I reported my findings to Ricky and he did more investigation on the internet and found even more owners who were have the problem and explained what they did to correct it.

He ask me to bring it in 6/2/2014 and said the problem was external and he quickly and easily corrected the problem and refused to accept my offer to pay for the time he spent looking for this irritating noise. The Chevy dealers had quoted $500 to $600 just to investigate the problem with no guarantee of finding it but I would still have to pay for their time @ $150/hr.-what a rip-off.

This kind of genuine concern to help their customers instead of getting as much money out of them as possible is a reminder of many years gone by which brings back warm memories of my growing up years.
