The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu. While driving 55 mph, the hood on the contact's vehicle flew up unexpectedly. The contact pulled over to the side of the road and could not close the hood because it was dented. He took the vehicle to the dealer and they sent him to a body shop. The hood would cost $1,600 to replace. The hood had not been opened prior to the failure. The failure mileage was 59,600.
