The consumer stated that after picking the vehicle up for repairs, she noticed that the back seatbelts had been snapped by the body shop. When the consumer unsnapped the seatbelts, she noticed that they wouldn't retract. The consumer then called the service department and was told to bring the vehicle in the next day. The consumer was told by the mechanic that the seatbelts were worn out, which was odd because the vehicle was only a month old. The mechanic also told the consumer that the retractors are defective.
