On July 7, 2005 I purchased a 2000 Chevy Malibu ls. The right two brake lights continue to burn out. Never at the same time, it's either the one on the outside or the inner one.
Numerous problems: Brakes made noise when applied, vehicle jerked when at a complete stop, the vehicle shut down on the consumer three times, it started loud and hard, bounced while being driven and a bolt fell off from under the passenger seat, however the dealer stated the bolt did not belong to the vehicle. Also the rear passenger window was inoperative, and the battery was weak.
Consumer called complaining about having problems with her brake lights she is complaining about water come inside of the plastic cover which later it becomes moisture and does not allowed the vehicle on the back to see if she is braking or not and this can cause someone hitting her.
I have also had a front end alignment, replaced emergency lights, suspension fixed, all in less than 2 years of owning the vehicle. The brakes are still not working correctly.
The right rear tail lamp is full of water, the left rear brake lamp circuit board shorted, dealer replaced the board and bulbs, dealer also found the third brake lamp was falling back into the package tray. Nlm
