no ses light on. car bucks, surges, hesitates, looses power etc. Because the ses light is not on, GM techs cannot determine what is wrong without extensive diagnosis.
One remark they made was "start throwing parts at it"
This was not acceptable to me, and them wanting "whatever time it takes us to find the problem" is too excessive.
I would be happy if they said 2 or 3 hours diagnosis time plus repairs
First they told me it was the tranny. Then they changed their mind and said it was a computer problem. They, the Transmission shop, "Fixed" the problem. It lasted 3days and it starts doing the same thing all over again. I heard it is a common problem and just ignore it. But it is a pain in the butt. Otherwise the car is great!!
Three times in 6 months, sudden loss of power in freeway (engine goes off), very dangerous situation. No message by computer system, mechanics unable to diagnose problem.
Water pump, intake manifold gasket, a/c head, volume nob fell off, runs rough, lack of power, emergengy brake pad fell off, shuts off at times as soon as you start it, ignition stalls a little at times, idles loudly after started or when in park, thermostat rose a little higher than the half way mark- Big lemon!!
