This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Bought this car on the premise of low maintainence. Have averaged dealer visits every two months. This car is a lemon and I don't feel my family is safe in it. No safety defect listed in the summary.
I have had nothing but problems with my car. At 3,000 miles I had to have the engine replaced. The front headlight, control panel for the windows, the phone jack, the brakes reserviced because they wouldn't replace them at 14,000, then again at 28,000 the brakes are acting up again. Please help thank you patricia robinson.
It seems as though sooner I get one thing fixed and another goes wrong. I want GM to purchase the car back. It is to the point I am afaid to even get into the car anymore.
