3.4L V6 engine failure was a leak in intake manifold gasket. Airbag failure was a defective seatbelt retractor, causing airbag warning light to stay lit.
Air bags deployed when a rut in the road was hit at appx. 5 to 8 mph (driveway) sever facial abrasion to passenger from passenger side air bag. Windshield shattered from air bag. VIN is unknown. Avis car # 2219814.
