Consumer complained about windshield wiper motor problem. While driving in rainstorm windshield wiper motor failed. Consumer had to wait until the rain stopped before getting help. This occurred on two occasions. A recall was issued. However, this vehicle was not included in the recall due to VIN.
When driving during a rain storm windshield wipers failed. Took vehicle to dealership, and mechanic stated windshield wiper motor malfunctioned, and needed to be repaired.
Windshield wipers failed to work, started again, failed to work, etc.... during a drive in the rain in the middle of heavy commuter traffic. Fortunately I was able to navigate across several lanes of traffic and pull over without an accident.
The windshield wipers system malfunction, causing the wipers not to work in the low position. But will work in the high position. Dealer cannot determine problem. Also a squeaky noise everytime the braking system is activated.

While driving the vehicle at highway speed on major highway it was almost rearended. Went into neutral and the it was almost rear ended. This has happened several times. There is a service bulletin (tsb) 6771641. Took vehicle to dealer and they rebuilt the transmission. Dealer is aware of the problem because of the service bulletin, but is not honoring it as a recall. In addition, windshield wiper motor malfunctioned 3 times.
