Fatalities resulting from a rollover of a 1996 Chevrolet Lumina. The steering was defective which caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle and rollover killing all passengers. The driver's seat belt broke and the sliding door came off during the rollover.
Consumer was traveling about 65mph on the highway and fell asleep at the wheelwhile he was turning around the curb. Vehicle flipped over twice. Consumer crawled out of vehicle, and noticed that flames were coming from underneath the hood. Then car bursted into flames, vehicle was totaled. Consumer wasn't hurt.
Vehicle loses power steering when driving through puddles. This is a serious safety problem. Dealer claims thids happens to all Luminas and camaros, and there is nothing he could do to fix problem.
